Monotheism and Naturalism are the two most influential world views today. In my opinion, it is because of atifacts that point to a God and a trend of being in harmony with Mother Earth

Monotheism and Naturalism. In the year 2000, 55% of the world identified as monotheistic. I would argue Naturalism is also one of the most influential with the rise and expanse of science throughout the world.

Monotheist and Pantheists because the tougher life gets the more Man reaches out for guidance. False religion is being exposed all over the world because now Man is interested in what the church has to say about crime, poverty, sickness, and war. We are living in times where it would make more since to connect with a higher power. being an individual without any sense of being, responsibility, nor accountability could result in total chaos.

Creationism (monotheism) and Evolution (naturalism) are the two most common. Naturalism seems to be the one pushed in most public school systems, and in the entertainment sector.

The only worldviews that actually attempt to explain origins are monotheism, deism, and naturalism. The others do not attempt to explain the origin of the universe/life, but rather try to tackle questions about the existing world. I was surprised by this when asking a Buddhist friend how he was taught life began – his response was that he had never thought about it, and it was not something that had ever been discussed.
So of these, monotheism and naturalism are the most influential in that they approach the topic of origins from two opposing sides (Creator/no Creator), and people naturally tend toward one of these two opinions. Deism falls behind somewhat because once people fall on the Creator side, our tendency to search for meaning makes us wonder why a Creator would create a world and just abandon it.
