Monotheism and Naturalism. Creation vs. Evolution has been a large debate for years now.

Monotheism and Nationalism are most influential in explaining origins. Monotheism is most popular and therefore taught to most of us from birth. Also, we have ancient records and inspired teachings and commandments. Nationalism is influential due its focus on what we have learned and can replicate. It’s limiting, but influential due to being easy to understand with human intelligence.

I would say Monotheism and Naturalism are the two dominant worldviews in terms of explaining origins.
A lot of people still believe that a God created the universe, even though hold varying degrees of view on whether that is a specific, knowable, relational God (which would bleed over into Deism).
A lot of people also believe that matter is all that exists, that we are the product of macroevolution, and that life ends in annihilation (which would bleed over into Existentialism/Nihilism).

monotheism – a sovereign God created the universe for His pleasure and for relationships.
naturalism – no divine being created anything but rather the universe “exploded” into existence and that life then evolved.
