Whom have you known who has struggled with unanswered prayer?

I have struggled with unanswered prayer regarding our struggling marriage.

I, myself and many of the people around me, even pastors, church leaders….almost everyone has struggled with unanswered prayers at one time or another in their life.

I have seen some people who have not received healing or deliverance through their own prayers or prayers of others, try to fix things themselves. It’s heartbreaking to watch.
They decide they need to start taking this vitamin or do this exercise or diet and become frustrated with God.
I’ve tried those things myself in the past.
But what I have seen throughout the years is that the Lord’s timing is perfect.
In the pain of unanswered prayer is a process of humbling myself to the Lord and His plan.
I’ve learned that this is not the end result. -
I have a special needs adult child. I have accepted that her healing will come in heaven. I find joy in being her mother – most days. I sometimes wonder how life would be different if she were healed on this side of glory.

I can see currently unanswered in my daughters journey. Although the journey is not over yet.
