People are drawn to the book of revelation because they want to find out more about God, about the future and to strengthen their knowledge and faith in God. The way the book of Revelation is written is sometimes confusing to the readers.

Revelation is a crucial part of the Bible for Christians, offering a powerful perspective on the eternal reward of faithfulness to God, warning against compromise with the world system, fostering confidence in God’s sovereignty, providing a template for worship, and offering a unique perspective on God’s purposes in human history. Many Christians avoid Revelation due to problematic hermeneutics, which interpret the Bible from the latest Middle Eastern news events. By studying Revelation, Christians can find fresh vision for fulfilling God’s purposes in their own lives.

I am not sure on this. I have not read Revelation. I am not sure why I feel the way I feel about trying to read it. I made it to the second verse and just cannot get past it. Am I not ready for the truth of the ending? I am not sure. It did confuse me in verse 1 with the metaphors. I will be studying in my bible group in September!

It is speaking of the future so it is a fascinating book. It reveals the character of God in the end times of this world.

People want to know what is going to happen in the end. Many are very focused on the whats and hows that might happen! I believe it could be valuable in knowing that God has a plan & that HE IS COMING BACK!
