Why are people drawn to the book of Revelation and confused by it? What might be the value in studying it?

The book of revelation shows the prophecy of the world that is to be fufill and shows the earth will keep getting worse and worse until the second coming. Revelation shows very insightful vision on what is happening in heaven and what is going on in the spiritual realm. The value of studying it is too look for the signs He warns us of and to trust that everything will come to fruition and will be restored.

Revelation starts by stating that we are blessed who read and hear the words of this book. It is confusing because of the events that occur within the book. This book has great value for the reader, the prophecy within tells of things to come, warnings and blessings.

It is the last book of the Bible that explains our destiny but it is a very difficult book because of the way in which it is written. The entire Bible is valuable because it is the written Word of the Lord and we need the the power of the Holy Spirit to help us understand clearly what the message is.

People are drawn to the book of Revelations because it reveals the end of the story. The value in studying this book is to allow you to be aware of things and events happening around you in our world.

We are drawn to the Book of Revelation because of this being the end of the story, and a spectacular ending this is. We read of the problems of the early church, along with the things they did right. We can relate that to our churches today, and to our struggles. We read of the throne room of God, what a priveledge we were given in seeing this word picture. We read of the battle between good and evil, knowing that Jesus will win, yet the details are frightening because this is being lived out before our eyes. We’re confused because we don’t know what to make of the imagery and writing of this incredible book. The value is in understanding what is to come and the hope that victory brings.
