There are a lot of pictures and analogies. But there are literal events that sound fantastic and hard to believe.

It is intriguing because it is figurative language about the future. However…it is good to read so we know what to be looking for and to have a sense of urgency when sharing the Gospel.

I think people are both drawn to and struggle with Revelation because its poetic and apocalyptic style of writing. Revelation provides a heavenly or spiritual view of what is going on in the world and I think that is what makes it valuable.

I think people are drawn to it because of its mysterious nature and the telling of what is to come. I think the value of studying it is to know the fullness of God’s purpose and plane in it entirety – from beginning to end

Because it can be beyond things we can understand as a human. Studying it helps us gain understanding for what God wanted us to get out of it by including it in the Bible to begin with.
