I liked how the lecture broke it into different parts. It is intimidating but worth diving into.

We are people who question “What is next?” The book of Revelation provides answers to that question yet because of its language full of symbols and illustrations of a culture that is different from ours today, and that can be very confusing. The symbols can have various intepertretations for many, but there is one thing that the book shows that is clear and consistent. It continues to reveal who God is and His final plan to bring an end to evil and sin and restoration of His creation back to the Garde of Eden.

I believe people are drawn to it to find insight to the end times. I believe the fact that it speaks of end times also scares people. It is can be hard to understand and I believe people are intimidated by that.

It is fully of mystery and intrigue, and has a lot of symbolism. It gives us a view of Heaven, judgement, and end times.

People are drawn to and confused by the book of Revelation because they want to know what is next, but the figurative language makes it difficult to understand. The value in studying it, is that with help, you CAN understand much of what is prophesied in it and you can understand more of who God is.
