Why are people drawn to the book of Revelation and confused by it? What might be the value in studying it?

The book of Revelation speaks of the future, what will come to pass and has yet to pass. It is a glimpse into the future that we would not be able to know about otherwise.
Confusion because of the need to chain Satan for a millennium before the final revolt.
To bring God’s truth about what would befall everyone when the time comes to those willing to hear. -
People are drawn to it because of its fantastic nature and because people are fascinated by the idea of knowing the future. People also want to find significance and they hope to identify signs of the end. But the figurative language leaves a lot of uncertainty about exactly what it means, what things it might actually represent, and when it might happen (or have already happened).
Studying it gives us more picture of God and how he works in the world. It also prepares us for what is to come (if it’s still in the future). It definitely prepares us for God’s victory in the end. -
People are drawn to it because of the mystery of heaven and of the tribulation and rapture. An attempt at understanding it and studying it leads to a deeper understanding of the purpose of Christ’s coming and a reminder he will come again!

People want to better understand what will happen during the end of times. Growing a better understanding

People want to know what is to come. But it is not the most simple to understand. Spending time studying it would give much clarity on what is next.
