Given the enormity of the Bible's lessons to mankind, it is expected that one would have an interest in how these lessons ended up being spread successfully after Christ's death. The final questions would be how the teachings of Christ were spread throughout the world and would there be a final destination for all believers. The Letters and Revelation respond to both of these questions.

draw point: people want to have a glimpse into the future.
confusion: many of the prophesies have not happened. people might not be so accepting to the idea of judgementValue: god is a just god and the final victor. our final hope is in Him

Revelation is a book of much symbolism which can be confusing when not understanding the significance of these symbols. People are fascinated with the book because we want to know what is coming. With the chaos now in our culture, many people have an increased interest in it.

It speaks of the end-time and future. Most of it is figurative as John does his best to articulate what God is saying to him in a human sense.
