Why are people drawn to the book of Revelation and confused by it? What might be the value in studying it?

People are drawn to the book of Revelation because they want to know what will happen in the future. The value in studying it is that it is the word of God and in it we know that God will conquer all and the promises of Heaven are true.

People are drawn to the book of Revelations because they want to find out about the future of the earth and heavens but the future is not clear. the value of studying the book is to understand the epistles and how there value,

Two of the hardest questions many people face in life are 1) where did we come from and 2) where are we going? The Bible is captivating because it does an excellent job answering both of these questions, however, there is much more of a unknown in regards to where we are going and the book of Revelation offers an answer.
Though we are given a target in the book of Revelation, the content is confusing for a few reasons, but perhaps the two biggest are:
1. Over time we create our own perceptions of truth/reality and sometimes we don’t see how those ideas fit into the future outlined in Revelation.
2. The figurative language/imagery used in the book is confusing in and of itself.The value of studying the book of Revelation is two-fold.
1. It’s Scripture and “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Tim 3:16-17)
2. It’s a promise of hope, restoration, and victory for those who have suffered for Christ’s sake. -
The book of Revelation is one of promise and wonder. People are drawn to it for multiple reasons, but among those are the fact that it speaks of the New Earth which we have not seen yet. It also uses symbology that we can only understand through revelation from the Holy Spirit, which I believe intrigues the heart and mind of believers!

It is because people want to find what happen on the earth, how they are affected by the coming events and what should they do in the midst of tribulation. They wan to know when and how and when the final judgment on sin, evil and satan will take place. And what we as believes will encounter in the last days and how should we prepared ourselves for the great and terrible days and how to ready for the wrath of God which will rain upon the earth. Also what is that future holds for as believers and what God has installed for believers in the future heaven and earth.
