People are drawn to Revelation because they want to know the future but because many metaphors are used it can be confusing. There is valuing in studying it to be able to explain what is to come and convert others to Christ now.

I think it’s human nature to have a morbid curiosity with the end whether its our death or the end of the world. Revelation is confusing without studying the rest of the bible as well as being active in your relationship with God. ( If you think about it, it makes sense for there being the requirement for people to personally study the 65 other chapters of the Bible in order to be able to understand what we need to look for in the end times)

It’s fascinating to some, scary yet reassuring. John is telling us there is indeed an end to all of this coming. Many try to interpret the mystery of the writing, figure out where we are now in terms of the timeline in the Book, and it’s a good way to remind you that God is to be taken seriously.

Revelation is an intreguing book because most believe it is about the future. It is confusing because it is highly symbolic. The benefit in studying revelation is so that we can learn how to be faithful followers of Jesus even when crazy things are happening.

I think people are drawn to Revelation because it talks about the end times and people want to know how the world is going to end. The reason people are confused is because heaven is filled with things we can’t comprehend so when they talk about end times we don’t always know what the scripture is talking about
