Why are people drawn to the book of Revelation and confused by it? What might be the value in studying it?

We are drawn because we a curious. We want to know what happens. We are confused bc of the language and how things are explained, we want it to be plain. Its valuable to understand things to come and to see God has an ultimate plan.

Drawn bc we are in the last days, and it points to the coming Messiah. However, most up are fearful and confused really bc of a lack of understanding of the written context of John.

The apocalyptic nature of the writing makes it very difficult to understand with all the imagery. The natural draw is the security of knowing what is going to happen next and to know that we are on the right side of history. The value in the study is to gather a greater understanding of God in his might, power, and omnipotence.

Many people are drawn to the Book of Revelation because they want to know the future. They want the control of knowing what is going to happen. They are confused by it because God it not ready yet to reveal everything. It would be too much for most people to handle/grasp and understand. There is value in studying the Book of Revelation so we can recognize those things that we do understand when they occur.

People are drawn to Revelation because we know that there is an eternity and so many people want to “figure out” what and when that will happen based on human understanding. If we “know” things, then it somehow gives us a sense of control. It’s valuable to study to gain understanding into the prophecy of Jesus.
