Revelations is a book about end times. The story is told in rich language and not always easy to understand the dreams and prophesy. It is told in stories with dreams and visions. That can make it confusing to follow. Yet, understanding about end times clears up a lot of questions. It helps us see hope in end times and know that God will overcome everything on this earth through His son Jesus.

From my experience, people are afraid of it. I wouldn’t say that they’re are drawn to it. They are definitely confused about it. But after going through this course, I have a much better understanding of it. The value is being able to share what I’ve learned we people that are confused by it.

People are drawn to it because it reveals the second coming of Christ but possibly creates confusion as our initial expectations are of it to be beautiful and majestic when in reality it seems more morbid and gruesome. The value in studying it is to make sure that we live a life as believers of Christ and not to be a follower of Satan so that we are ensured of eternal life in Heaven, rather than suffering a gruesome fate and being sentenced to hell for eternity.

People are drawn to the book of Revelation because reveals glimpse and hopes about the future. It declares how evil will be abolished and how Jesus will return fulfilling His promise to those who believed.

I believe people are drawn to it like we are drawn to anything that has to do with the future of our faith and our lives and the beautiful way it describes heaven and God in His glory. It can be confusing to think of Jesus coming back to reign, a new heavy and earth and anything different from the “world” as we know it in our humanity and some of the language in it is difficult to understand. It is valuable to study Gods plans and authority fulfilled.
