People are confused by the book of Revelation because it uses such powerful figurative imagery and uses it quite frequently; it takes much study and prayer to gain knowledge and understanding as to what God is revealing through the vision He gave John. The value in studying Revelation is quite high, through it we can learn what is to come and be vigilant of the times based on what the Bible tells us will happen in those days. We also learn more about God and His confrontation with sin and evil and His splendor of His plan for all saved people. Also, the visions of heaven provide such wonderful things to hope for!

Unbelievers look at this book and see the wrath and anger that God has and displays. They do not understand that it is judgement for the evil and sin of the world and only see a God full of anger and destruction and death.
Studying this book will give us insight on how to rebuttal those views of the unbelievers. It will give us insight on what we need to do to help those that may face these judgements.
