I think there are a handful of reasons why people are drawn to the book of Revelations. For some, Revelations can provide glimpses into an unknown future. For others, they can become intrigued by the vividness and intensity of the language that is used throughout the book!

Revelation contains unfulfilled prophesy and end times promises. There is great value in studying it for encouragement and share the glory of God!

We are drawn to it because it is a vision of things to come, although it is not literal in some of the descriptions it does give us a good insight into the events of the future. It can be confusing if we try and understand the accounts by John with our own understanding. we must seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit for discernment in these passages. The value is to prepare us for what is to come. But, the victory is Gods!

The book of Revelation is a prophetic book of future events. We all are curious about the future particularly what life after earthly death has in store for us.

The book of Revelation is enticing because it has the future woven through, but it is written in a way that we don’t always understand. The value is understanding God’s heart and living with a view fo the future, but not to “figure out all the details.” Instead, see it as what is to come and trust God through the process.
