The pictures that are described here in the vision are beautiful but also quite controversial as given to various interpretations. There is value in studying it to know God’s plan for all humanity.

This book was written as a vision of John. This is to let us know what will be revealed to us at our ending.

Since it is prophecy, it is hard to interpret but intriguing to read. There are many figurative pictures in the book and we are not sure exactly how everything will play out. It still has value since it is God’s word. There are still many spiritual truths in it.

We are drawn to what will happen in the end. On top of that, throw in some preachers/theologians that believe they know how it will end, and you will have a mass following and birth of new belief systems. Revelation is lot to take in that’s for sure. Revelation is a benefit to read because it does show Gods heart for his people to be whole as well as the restoration of all things that will come to pass in His time. I do believe rapture teaching is a major stumbling block for the West and has diminished the desire for believers to become Jesus on the earth.

Well for starters you’re blessed if you read it. Second its both a mystery and answer to the future prophecy which is the second coming. It’s the idea of what is next! Why do we do what we do? The value is understanding that God has a purpose for us and wants to redeem the world. He wants to use us to do so.
