Why can Jesus not simply be a guru or yogi, as Eastern religions define these words?

Jesus is not a simple master teacher. As Dr. Groothuis said “There was no way Jesus taught that God is everything and you could find Him within you. He was a monotheist, he believed God was distinct from the world. He believes we are separated from God because of our sins not by ignorance of who we are. He proclaims himself a miracle worker, a healer, an exorcist”. Simon Peter in Matthew 16:13-18 answered to Jesus, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God”. He has the authority for forgiving sins, the only one to declare that, was God then Jesus is God. Jesus is the only source of salvation Acts 4:12. In John 14:1-7 Jesus answered “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would know my Father as well”. Jesus is beyond any master or a “guru”. He is our Lord!
