Satan did not submit to the authority of God and was cast out of Heaven. He now works with his demons to thwart the plans of the people of God and to attempt to keep them from following Christ.

He had jealousy over the fact that God was being worshipped and also that man was created in God’s image and not him.

The Bible depicts Lucifer’s fall from grace as a result of his sinful pride and defiance against God’s authority. According to Christian theology, Lucifer was once an angel who became arrogant and desired to be like God. This arrogance led to his rebellion, and he was eventually expelled from Heaven along with other angels who followed him.
