Why did Satan become a fallen angel? How does this explain his current activity in the world?

1. He is an enemy angel because he rebelled against God’s commands. He has definitive limitations.
He tempted Jesus during his 40 days in the desert, but he failed. Also, tempted Eve with success, creating
sin. There are many other examples of his evil temptations in the Bible.2. He is still leading his army of demons and other less powerful angels to attack/tempt, people in our reality,
from his spiritual realm. These are the primary enemies with whom we need to be aware of today. However,
in the end, the victor was/is Jesus Christ our Savior. We know this is a Biblical truth. Yet, as human beings we
must discern who gives us what choices to choose from in our mind, soul and body. -
He rebelled against God and has been trying to recruit an army ever since.

To oppose God and all the good things in the world. To create sin and evil so we are separated from God forever.

Through pride. It shows in how he seeks to undermine what our sovereign God is doing.
