Satan became a fallen angel because satan wanted to be like God. Satan is tempting and trying to prevent all believer in a way that they wouldn’t know the gospel. Satan is afraid and try to convince believer to the pint where christian couldn’t know the gospel.

Satan became a fallen angel by rebelling against God. He is still rebelling against God and trying to prevent as many people as he can from accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior and trying to destroy the joy and happiness of those that have accepted Jesus as their Savior.
