Satan rebelled against God and refused to worship or serve God. Instead, Scripture would lead us to believe that Satan wanted to be God. He wanted to be worshiped and served, and therefore, would not submit or obey his Creator. Because of that, all of Satan’s activity continues from a place of rebellion against God. He continues to act in ways that would draw mankind away from God, to rebel in the same way he did. He desires for mankind to follow his lead as opposed to God’s way. And because Satan knows he is a defeated foe – because he knows his time is limited – he seizes every opportunity possible.

He tempted Jesus during his 40 days in the desert, but he failed. Also, tempted Eve with success, creating
sin. There are many other examples of his evil temptations in the Bible.2. He is still leading his army of demons and other less powerful angels to attack/tempt, people in our reality,
from his spiritual realm. These are the primary enemies with whom we need to be aware of today. However,
in the end, the victor was/is Jesus Christ our Savior. We know this is a Biblical truth. Yet, as human beings we
must discern who gives us what choices to choose from in our mind, soul and body. -
