Why do you think it is important to know more about world religions?

To understand other religions helps us to understand other people’s background.

It will help understand about their heritage, culture, testimonies on how it impacts their life before and after, and also it will provide extra experience as add to our knowledge in our walk with Christ when it differs from our original belief in Christianity (what I mean, it helps us put us in deep thoughtfulness and do reflective thinking why our belief differs due to conflict in belief).

To understand other religions is to understand other cultures. To understand why people think differently and act differently from ourselves.

To be able to have respect for other peoples religions, and their beliefs and to be able to learn why they believe in their religion and to be able to have an open mind toward other religions. To be able to show God’s truth in love and kindness.

• Be authentic, treat others with respect as there are so many religions and cultures that we do not know.
• Avoid being judgemental, extend our loves to as Jesus would like us to amplify and have the wisdom to see the common grounds of various religions as it is as critical to know the differences.
• Remember to speak in love, the goal is to discern the truth. It will be unwise to win the argument and loss the relationship.
