If.others praise us for what we do, it removes the focus from God

Fasting is between me and God. I should not tell anyone that I am fasting, it’s no one business but mine and God’s.

If you’re doing it so others will see, you’re not doing it with the right heart in the first place.

The focus should be on God and what He wants.

It is because fasting is a personal connection with God and not for anyone else to be concerned about.
