Why does it matter what teachers believe?

They are with students all day and speak into their lives. Students listen to teachers.
-
This is because teachers will inevitably impart their worldviews and beliefs to their students.

Students see their teachers as authorities. They have inherent credibility because of their position. For this reason, what a teacher believes and teaches will be vitaly important in the lives of our students and the worldview they adopt for themselves.

It matters what teachers believe because that is what we will be instilling in our students. We need to see our students the way God sees them. We need to teach them to love and encourage one another. We are pouring into our future, and it is our job to pass down the Christian philosophy.

We are preparing the future generation. We do not want our students to be like Judges 2:10 “a generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done”
