Simply because you can’t pour and people (in this case, our learners) drink from an empty cup. The teacher has to have a worldview that drives their convictions and practices as an educator. I for one, believe that bI am called to be a teacher.

What teachers believe matters deeply because their beliefs shape their attitudes, teaching methods, their students’ future, and the overall learning environment.
-
Whatever beliefs a teacher holds are directly or indirectly conveyed to the students. These beliefs shape the teacher’s delivery and create the foundation for the classroom environment.
-
The teacher can only pass on to his students what he believe whether consciously or otherwise, hence the teacher’s believe do matter

Teachers believe matters, because the impact your believe made on the students’ life remain in their memory either positively or negatively.
