Because it shows in our actions. We cannot be hypocritical about what we do and why we say be obedient to God’s word is the best path we can take in our life’s.

What anyone believes in their heart comes out of their mouth.

How and what we communicate with the students will reflect our beliefs one way or another. As a Christian teachers, it is very important that we ‘walk the talk’ so students can feel valued, cared and loved by us.

What we believe seeps into everything we do. If a teacher is atheistic, of which I have had several, that comes through in his teaching and it influences his students. If a teacher’s worldview is filled with worldly culture, everything she teaches is colored by that secularist pair of glasses. Our Christian educational philosophy must come through in our teaching as well. We need to view our students as eternal souls. The more we train our brains to see them as such, the more we are able to keep their salvation and/or sanctification in sight.

As a Spirit-filled believer in Christ, I am able to fill the life of my students with faith, love, and hope for the future. This would not be possible if I didn’t have hope or the love of God in my heart.
