Why does it matter what teachers believe?

Teachers influence our students whether we realize it or not. We are constantly teaching our views to our class, so it is very important that teachers believe in Christ so that they can pass that along to their students.

It matters what teachers believe because we are putting those beliefs onto the children that we teach. Our world view, and the way we see things will become the lens with which we distribute information to our students, so it is important that we come from a biblical background so we can promote that world view onto our students.

We have a big influence on our kids, and having them know what we believe will help them grow in their faith. The position of authority over them and expertise we bring to the content makes students trust us. If they believe what we do, we had better believe the correct things.

What teachers believe matters so much. Teachers always pass on what they believe to their students.

It matters what we believe because we are role models for our students. Our students see us examples of what faith and love looks like in action. We must be consistent with the Word of God.
