What teachers believe shapes their teaching approach, influences student learning, and creates the classroom environment.

It matters because students are learning from us. We have great influence on the minds of our students.

It matters because we are intellectually superior to our students. We need not lead them to destruction. So, what I believe is critically important.

Students will see what motivates them through their daily actions, words, and teaching approaches. They care more about who you are as a person and pay attention to that than they do the subject you are teaching.
