To me mainly because the bible is very specific when it explains that our math expresses what is inside of our hearts, where our treasure is, is where our hearts will be placed.

Because it will come out in how they teach, what they say, how they interact with their students.

Teachers show what they believe in how they act. If we tell students to follow God but our actions do not match His will and His way, students will internalize a sense of unimportance in following our beliefs. Teachers infuse their beliefs into every aspect of the classroom whether they intend to or not, so what they believe is important.

What we believe matters because it shapes who we are, how we act, and how we teach.

What we believe is important because we teach what we believe. The students are also watching us and our actions speak what we believe too. Teaching is a calling and we should take it seriously.
