What I believe as a Christian educator matters because I can’t give what I don’t have. As a Christian educator, my primary purpose is to make Christ known to my students. How can I do that if I don’t know Him?

What I believe about Jesus affects how I interpret the bible, convey it’s message and guide students towards a Christian worldview. As a Christian educator, I am also a model for my students. My beliefs will directly affect how I live my life, what principles I follow, and how I treat and love others.

First of all, what you believe is what you will mostly end up teaching (directly or indirectly). Believing Jesus Christ based on His word (Bible), helps to renew our minds daily, to consistently have the mind of Christ. When we have the mind of Christ as Christian educators, we are able to pass down the principles and person of Jesus Christ to the children.

It matters so much because you can only give what you have. What you believe about Christ is what most of your students by the end of the day will believe.

What we believe about Christ affects how we respond to our students, colleagues, etc. It affects how we teach and what we teach. It affects how we look and react to our surroundings.
