As Christian educators, we need to know about Jesus Christ and we need to believe in His word to infuse into our lessons and to make disciples. We cannot teach about Jesus Christ if we don’t know about Him.

I have to believe in the Bible as the foundation of my faith, so that I can impart the truths in the Bible to my students. the Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the only way to God. Everything I believe about God should encompass that truth, because it is through our belief in Jesus Christ that we can be saved.

You cannot be a Christian educator if you are not a true follower of Jesus Christ. You cannot impart that which you do not possess.

It matters because without Christ I won’t be able to represent Him in all I do. He defines all I do and who I am because He’s the way, the truth, and the life and as a Christian educator Christ is the center of it all.

It matters because how am I able to help young students learn about God and his word and help them become representatives in His image if I do not have a strong belief in His word.
