Why does praying with others honor God in a special way?

When we come together to pray, His presence will be there in a personal way. Unity is important to Jesus.

When two or more are gathered in His Name, He is there with them. His presence adds strength and comfort to all who are there, and prayers seem more freely offered.

We are obeying his will.

It bings us together in unity, one accord. We are also being obedient to His word.

Praying with others creates an interdependency and unity amongst us, while at the same time it demonstrates dependency on God. This dual function is so important that Christ promised: 1. that our prayer would be answered when we agree on our request and; 2. we’d be blessed by His Presence ( Matthew 18:19-20
