Why does praying with others honor God in a special way?

The body of Christ is supposed to be in unity with each other, so when we are together in prayer and seeking common ground, that brings a unity which is pleasing to God.

I picture a chorus of prayers reaching God. And I believe that honors Him because it shows that we trust that He will hear us.

Because we as a group recognize the need for God and the unity of our spirits. Often times when we offer group prayers, needs that I do not think of are covered by someone else and vice versa.
