Praying with others honors God in a special way because God wants us to come together in community and praying together is showing unity with each other and God prayed for unity for his believers.

When we come together to pray, His presence will be manifest in a unique and powerful way. There is a sense that Jesus is there in a personal way, helping us and building His church, drawing us closer to Him and to each other.

When we pray together we are showing our love for one another and we are being obedient to Jesus’ command for us to pray together.

Praying with others honor God in a special way because we use Jesus as our example. Even though He often withdrew to pray alone, we know he often prayed with His disciples or when others asked for healing or requests from Him, he prayed with them. We honor God by being in His presence when we pray and believing in His promise that great things will happen.
