Why is dependence on God in prayer so important?

We usually prefer to use our own way in our life. Prayer comes when God will take charge of everything. He wants us and help us to have special relationships with Him and get much better of Him.

Sometimes I just don’t know the difference between real diamonds or fake. They both look so sparkly and shiny.
So, I need to rely on Him that I make a wise investment.
I might be thinking “I need this job”, or “need that house “, or “person in my life”, but in reality my perception is not on point for the end result.
This is why I need to count on the Lord. -
God wants us to be totally dependent on Him; He knows all things and is all powerful

Because God wants us to depend on Him and His power, and not on our own imperfect understanding and weakness. We are no to be self-reliant, as this leads us far from Him and deep into pride. It is by our weakness and dependence on Him that His strength is made perfect.

It’s important cause it keep us dependent on him and most of it keeps me focus on him.
