Why is dependence on God in prayer so important?

We need to depend on God in our prayer and in our own life. We cannot carry our HIs will for our lives if we are not completely dependent on Him to determine what that will even is. We can try to life on our own strength, but we won’t get very far, but there are multiple passages that talk about relying on the Lord’s strength and through Him we can do all things.

Dependence on God in prayer is extremely important because He wants to show us more. We need to come to the Lord with our needs stripped of the pride and cares of the world. He already knows, and is waiting for us to come to Him so that we can become closer in relationship to Him.

Without Christ, we can do nothing. By depending on God in prayer, we demonstrate our need for Him, our love for Him, our trust in Him and our dependence on Him. We’re encouraged to pray and we should obey for our benefit and relationship with God.

(Luke 8:9-14) Pray and dont let the devil come and take away the Word of God. Don’t be choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures with the temporal stuffs.

Dependence on God in prayer is essential because He is the only one who can really answer our prayers. He can do the supernatural things that we cannot. If we do not depend on Him to answer our prayers, then our prayers would be futile and would go unanswered. God alone has all of the answers to our questions and problems therefore why would we look to and depend on any other?
