It’s important because graduates from Christian schools are still going to live and work in the world, like everyone else. Discipleship gives them a chance to replicate all the lessons they have absorbed when they meet other people, particularly those coming from different worldview.

Discipleship is an essential part of Christian education for my 2nd-grade students because it helps them develop a strong foundation of faith and values. Through discipleship, my students learn to apply biblical principles to their everyday lives, such as loving their neighbors, being kind to one another, and trusting in God’s goodness. By integrating discipleship into our 2nd-grade curriculum, my students are empowered to become young followers of Christ, shining His light in their families, classrooms, and communities.

It is absolutely an essential part of Christian education. We are here to make disciples out of our students. We teach them to love Jesus so they can teach others to love Jesus,

Discipleship is a journey of guiding a child towards a deeper understanding and relationship with God. It’s a dedicated process that involves consistently reinforcing biblical principles, offering gentle guidance and correction, and providing discipline when necessary. This ongoing effort helps to shape the child’s character and allows Christ to be formed within them. Therefore, discipleship is an essential component of a truly Christian education.

It helps in building the total child in taking responsibility as followers that can impact others and the world at large positively in the fear of God.
