As Christians, we are called to speak God’s truth and the wonderful things God did, does, and will do in our lives. We are disciples of Christ, therefore we are expected to take on this role seriously and pour it into our students’ hearts!

Discipleship allows you to speak into the lives of your students. It allows you to guide them biblically as they face different struggles in their lives, which ultimately equips them for their future outside of the school setting.

It’s kind of the whole point of it. The students are learning education so they will be effective workers in the Kingdom. To have the knowledge and not the spiritual maturity to use that knowledge to build the Kingdom would be a waste of time for all involved.

Discipleship is critical because it’s necessary for training. It’s being intentional and showing students HOW to serve others. It can look so very different and be very creative, but we are modeling the ways that we can serve others in our churches, community, and world.
