An educator is a disciple. You are training others in your topic. As a Christian educator all things should point to Christ. Dr. Black stated, “Christian education only exists if it’s based on a Christian philosophy of education.” Christian education is about Christ. Our philosophy of Education should be based of Christ.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” There must be an overall vision and philosophy by which we make decisions and view the world. Without a clear philosophy, decisions become inconsistent and faulty. A Christian philosophy of education is essential to ensure that our decision-making is based on God’s truth.

From my personal experience I believe that it is important to have a Christian philosophy because we need to guide the children towards a better relationship with Lord and also we will be able to pass the knowledge to them, when teaching any subjects we need to link the topics to the Word of God or how it is related to God and Scripture.
