The Bible states in proverbs 9:10 “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”. In order for educators to be of Godly influence in the lives of students they must hold God’s word as a source of wisdom and guidance. It is impossible to truly love wisdom if God and his word in not in the heart. As christian educators we are called to teach students a philosophy different than that of the world. God has left his foot print in his creation. His word must be taught as the absolute truth in order to contradict any belief that apposes to it truth. To pass down knowledge, truths and values to the next generation our philosophy must be founded in our love for God’s wisdom. According to the word of God in Proverbs 22:6 we should “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it . When the word of God is imparted in the heart of young ones and accompanied by Godly example their lives will reflect a love for wisdom.
