    God commands us to study the Scripture. I am very nearsighted, and without my glasses everything is out of focus. If we do not look at everything around us through the lens on Scripture, our world will be very out of focus. As Christian educators, we must be growing in our walk with the Lord.

    Knowing and studying Scripture will help in being able to integrate the Bible into my courses because you see more concepts and ideas that can be used to integrate into the curriculum.

    being connected to God’s word helps us to guide children through their faith…it also helps us continue to grow as those same children we seek to educate offer us lessons in return.
