Why is it important that Christian educators know and continue to study Scripture?

It is important because we can integrate it into our daily teachings and we must continue studying Scripture because is so much to learn. Then we will be more knowledgeable to teach the Scripture.

I think the most important reason for Christian educators to know and study scripture is in order to apply God’s wisdom in life’s challenges, specifically helping students to navigate these circumstances.

It is important for educators to know scripture…it can help in important discussions that may be held in the classroom. If our students see that are able to recite scripture, it can show/prove to them how helpful it can be!

So I can be ready to have Biblical discussions with my students, and also continue to grow in my spiritual life.

Because as an educator I am teaching from a biblical worldview. All the answers to the big questions are in the bible. I must educate myself on the scriptures to make sure I answer my students in the right context with the right scripture.
