It will help them be guided where they can find real answers. They have a lot on their plate and we need to prepare them so they feel like they can find the answers.

Students are facing many issues and they must learn to discern right from wrong. We must guide them in truth of the Bible

Students are faced with these issues about the purpose of life, when it begins, the very definition of male and female- foundational issues at such a younger age now. Students truly need the ability to decide between right and wrong as defined by God and to discern issues that might not be so black and white.

It is a skill that needs to be taught. Being spiritually minded does not come naturally. Students are limited in their knowledge of Bible and need guidance, first from parents but also from teachers and leaders. Teaching it throughout the day and not as a lesson will help students carry it into every part of their lives. Too many adults lack this skill. The earlier students can learn to integrate biblical thought into their decisions, actions, commitments they will be so much more able to discern and think through the lies of the culture.

This is because we are living in a world though not of this world and there are numerous principles being forced on us by the world, we need to be able to decern to know which ones are biblically accepted and which ones will endanger lives. Teaching our students strategies for discernment will help them take the path ordained by God for them to follow.
