It is vitally important that we teach our students strategies for discernment because the vast majority will end up in public education at some point and may be led astray by their teachers there.

To serve as their guidance in life, students must be able to decide and do what’s right in God’s eyes.

Like Dr. Black mentioned in the lesson, it is important to teach discernment so students are prepared and able to make wise decisions as young adults. They should know where to find the answers in scripture and how to use the Bible as a guide to life.
