As a second-grade teacher, it’s essential to teach students strategies for discernment to help them develop critical thinking skills and make informed decisions that align with biblical values and principles. By doing so, students will be better equipped to navigate the world around them, distinguish between right and wrong, and cultivate a deeper understanding of God’s truth.

This empowers them to examine everything closely and uncover the truth for themselves. A truth discovered independently is a truth one will cherish and defend throughout their life.

It’s really important to teach this in order to train our students to figure out what is Godly and what is not. Students need to be able to evaluate what is being said or taught in the world and see if it can be found in the Bible.

To make them partakers of blessings of God and enjoy growth mind set as a life style.

This will help change their worldview and pursue eternity if they can discern.
