Why is it important that we teach our students strategies for discernment?

Deleted User06/19/2024 at 11:47In a world that is more confusing than ever in regard to what is right and wrong, we need to help prepare our students to ask questions and to evaluate what the world says is right and wrong versus what the bible says. The bible is our instruction guide for life and if the students aren’t in the word or aren’t familiar with what God says about the ways we should live, then they won’t see any value in reading the bible, attending church or even following God.

Deleted User05/12/2024 at 20:42Discernment is absolutely essential in our day and age. All ideas have consequences. There are many bad ideas floating around in our society at this very moment. Our students must wade through that daily, and they must be prepared to expose the lies that subtly craft these ideas.
