Why is it important to be prepared for attacks on our Christian faith?

We need to be prepared because it is happening whether we want to admit it or not. Our kids are aware of changes around them and we need to prepare them in God’s word.

According to 1 Peter 3:15 it states, “But in your hearts set Christ apart [as holy – acknowledging Him, giving Him first place in your lives] as Lord. Always be ready to give a [logical]defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope and confident assurance [elicited by faith] that is within you, yet [do it] with gentleness and respect.” (AMP) We should expect the attack, as well as, be able/ready to give a response.

Jesus stated, “Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves”… the wolves here are represented in culture in many ways but overall, a world system that does not promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ , which is our foundation for Christianity.

We as Christians should be prepared for attacks on our faith because they WILL come. The Bible said so, and those that endure to the end will see the Kingdom of God.

It is important to be prepared so that when our faith is attacked we would still stand firm in Christ and continue to be rooted in His word not wavering.
