Why is it important to be prepared for attacks on our Christian faith?

It is important to be prepared for attacks because; we do not want to be drowned or be decided by the attacks for they will surely come in the stages of our lives. When a Christian is prepared, the faith we have in Christ Jesus will pull us through.

There will be attacks on our faith. We need to be strong in our faith so that we can address this but also so that we can help the younger generation.

It is usually a tree that has good fruits that will be attacked. Nehemiah had to contend with Sanballat and Tobias who planned attacks on those building the walls of Jerusalem. It is evident that for us to make good progress as Christian educators we should be prepared, watchful, prayerful, and not hiding. Being prepared and vigilant the enemy will find it difficult to gain ground.

It is not IF, but WHEN. Give the trajectory of our culture, it will be hard to follow Jesus and not face adversity and attack at some point. So, be prepared, stay close to Jesus and love unconditionally. If we are not prepared, then we will miss the opportunity afforded to us by the Lord to witness and honor the Lord.

The enemy will be ready with worldly arguments. If we are not prepared to give an accurate answer then it’s possible we will be dissuaded from the truth or further turn the person away from truth.
