A soldier would not go into battle without having been prepared. We also must prepare for the attacks on our Christian faith in order to stand boldly and keep trusting the Lord when things look bleak.

Christ was clear when he told us that people would hate us because of him. In 1 Corinthians 1:18, it says that the Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing. We can’t possibly expect non-Christians to understand where we are coming from.

Scriptures teach us that we must be rooted and established in our faith, wary of every false doctrine of man that would cheat us out of our eternal, rich inheritance in Christ. In the last days, the tares will grow up with the wheat, disguised so well that not even angels know the difference between true and false believers. And deception will be so strong that even strong Christians can even deceive themselves, thinking they are in Christ, working miracles. Yet on that Day, Christ will reject them, saying, “I never knew you.” This is the greatest tragedy of a person’s life. 1 Cor. 10: 12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

Because we know the attacks are coming! As God’s Word says, we must be prepared to defend our faith.

Christian philosophy is under attack, and we must be ready to defend our faith. As Christian educators, we need to teach our students how to defend our faith.
