Why is it important to be prepared for attacks on our Christian faith?

For the world system is the enemy of God and we are in a war zone, so I need to well equipped myself with the word of God so that I will be able to stand against the enemy. Storing the word, memorizing the word and acting by being the light.

Scripture promises that there will be attacks. We should be prepared so we can remain steadfast and teach our students how to stand firm in their beliefs and to do so in a loving way.

We live in a fallen world, so we know attacks are coming. We want to be able to stand firm against attacks, so we need to know and understand fully what we believe. If we are wishy washy, the devil will see right through us, and he knows exactly what to do to attack our weaknesses.

So that we might be able to withstand falsehoods that look to move us away from biblical truths, and damage our relationship (place it under stress) with God.

The attacks are going to happen. We need to expect them and be prepared for them.
